Create a diorama of Peeps based on a book of your choice and display it at the Centre Hall Area Branch Library! Prizes are available for the winners.
Things to know:
One entry per person
All ages can participate. There are 4 categories:
Young children (5 and younger)
Elementary age children (6-12)
Teen (13-17)
Adult (18+)
Entries will be accepted at the library circulation desk from Friday, March 28th until Saturday, April 5th. No entries will be accepted after 2 PM on April 5th.
Entry MUST include an entry form when submitting
Peep diorama from the 2023 contest in Centre Hall titled “Frankenpeep” entered by Grace in the Adult Category.
Peep diorama from the 2024 contest in Centre Hall titled “The Boxcar Peeps” entered by Miranda into the Child category.
Guidelines:
The diorama should be based on a book title or scene from a book.
Dioramas should be submitted in a shoe-box sized box. Nothing bigger than 12”x12”x12”, please!
The diorama should contain at least 1 Peep (any kind is fine).
You can use any other craft materials, but Peeps are the only allowed food item.
Judging and Voting:
Three community judges will pick winners in each age category.
Visit the library between April 7th and April 14th to vote for the Peep-le’s Choice Award!
Winners will be announced on April 15th and the winners will be contacted about picking up their prize!
All Peep Dioramas must be picked up from the library by Tuesday, April 22nd by 7 PM. Any remaining dioramas will be thrown away.
