Centre County Library & Historical Museum Board of Trustees

Centre County Library and Historical Museum is governed by a 9-member Board of Trustees. Two members of the Board are appointed by the Centre County Board of Commissioners and two are appointed by Bellefonte Borough. Centre Hall Borough, Philipsburg Borough and Spring Township each appoint one member, and two members are “member-at-large” positions elected by the Board of Trustees. All members of the Board serve a 3-year term and can be reappointed for a second 3-year term before needing to cycle off.

2025 Board of Trustees Meetings

The Board of Trustees usually meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 6 PM in the PA Room of the Miles-Humes house with a virtual option. The Board also meets once each year at the Holt Memorial Library in Philipsburg and the Centre Hall Area Branch Library. The public is welcome to attend all meetings.
