Totes of Gratitude Campaign

Now through Tuesday, September 30, the American Red Cross will be collecting personal care items to thank our community's veterans.  Totes of Gratitude is a program that delivers "a bag filled with ordinary things....bringing gratitude to veterans."

Join Centre County Library in saying "Thank You" for the hard work and dedication to our veterans by dropping off any of the following new, full sized items to the Bellefonte and Philipsburg branches during September:

Family Pumpkin Carving Contest

Join the fun at our first ever Pumpkin Carving Contest!

Visit the Bellefonte branch anytime after Wednesday, October 15th to choose your pumpkin and sign up for the contest. Then show us your creativity and harvest style by carving it any way you choose.  Families and individuals are welcome to sign up for the contest, and pumkins will be judged in catagories.

Carved pumpkins are due no later than Thursday, October 23. and will remain on display in the library until October 31, during which time patrons can vote on their favorites! Winners will be announced on Friday, October 31st at 5pm.

Even if you don't care to carve a pumpkin, you can still stop by the library to vote for your favorite between October 24th and...
