The Pennsylvania Room at the Centre County Library & Historical Museum is located in the early 19th-century Georgian style Miles-Humes home at 203 North Allegheny Street in Bellefonte.

Our many valuable resources include specialized genealogy collections,  PA county histories, church and cemetery records, original Centre County records, newspapers (1821 - present), and abundant historical and genealogical periodicals.

Also housed here: The Spangler Collection is an unique indexed collection of 18th- & 19th-century records on many Central Pennsylvania families.

Visit the Historical Museum to experience our Textile Room (displaying quilts and samplers), Sieg Room (featuring Centre County's Industrial Heritage), Linn Room (honoring this influential local family) & Community Heritage Room ( highlighting everyday life in Bellefonte).
