Homeschool Tuesdays at Centre Hall Library

A Program designed especially for home schooled families to create community, offer resources, and foster a shared learning experience. 

Picturing America, a Program for Grades 6-12

Using the resource Picturing America from the National Endowment for the Humanities, students will journey through American History using Art.  Examine a variety of American sculpture, portraiture, landscape painting, photography, architecture, etc.   Sessions will cover artists such as Norman Rockwell, Mary Cassatt, N C Wyeth, Frank Lloyd Wright, John James Audubon, and Dorothea Lange.  Historical and literature recommendations will be available for further study.
