About Us

Library System Profile:

The Centre County Library and HistoricalMuseumis headquartered in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. We support three library locations (Bellefonte, Philipsburg and Centre Hall), and a county-wide bookmobile.  We also operate a specialized research library and museum focusing on Central Pennsylvaniahistory and genealogy, which is located in the historic Miles-Humes House in Bellefonte, PA.

CentreCountyLibrary and HistoricalMuseumis a free community destination providing books, information and technology resources to preserve our heritage and promote a lifetime of reading and learning.

Vision:

CentreCountyLibrary and HistoricalMuseumwill be an inviting and vital part of our community by providing access to current technology and services to foster education and to enhance our community’s quality of life.
