Come to our Summer Reading kickoff party that will be held in the Children's Garden behind the Centre County Museum. 

We will have carnival games, snacks, raffle prizes, parachute games and storytime every half hour.  Freckles the Clown will be there and will be making balloon animals.   There is something for everyone.

Pick up your Summer Reading Program bag filled with goodies and learn about fun activities at the library this summer.  We can't wait to see you there.

Have you ever raced a worm?  Participants will be given a worm to name, coach and cheer to victory.  The winner and their worm will win a special prize!

Elementary kids receive a ticket for the weekly prize drawing just for attending.

Leaf Bird Baths

Learn how to make your own bird baths out of leaves and concrete.  Make a miniature one to take home to enhance your flower beds, patio or indoor decor.

We will be reading stories, crafting and blowing bubbles. 

Drop in the MuseumGardenduring these times (weather permitting, alternate location children’s area of the library) to read stories about cars and vehicles and make a vehicle craft.

Come down to the library on Saturday and spend some time looking at books and playing with our toys.
