Provide
free public library service to anyone living or working in Centre County.
Offer
quality materials which are relevant to the changing needs of patrons and the
community. These materials will be selected in accordance with the Centre
County Library Collection Development Policy.
Give
scheduling consideration to those areas not having a conventional library
facility and/or to captive audiences, such as retirement homes, senior citizen
centers, daycares, preschools, charter schools, rehab centers, etc.
Provide
a non-threatening and non-judgmental atmosphere for readers of all age levels.
Present
programs to encourage continued use of the Bookmobile, particularly for
children.
Generate
a positive image of the library system as a whole by being highly visible
throughout the entire community.
